Despite being famous for its Chicken Inasal and yearly Masskara Festival, Bacolod was one of the places that I haven’t thought of going to, until this year.

Food+Surfing: The La Union Adventure
Believe it or not, this is my second time in La Union. The first was quite horrible because there was a typhoon when we got there, Bernice was sick and during the end of the trip, I was feeling under the weather as well. To add to that, we had a flat tire when we reached the highway and had to change tires.
This time, I went with my high school batch mates: Jillian, Erika, Rose, JP, Evan, Cedrick and Mark. It was a pretty random crowd because we didn’t belong in the same clique when we were in high school but it was great to see some of them again after a long time.
Puerto Galera: The Second Time Around
Last weekend, me and my friends went to Puerto Galera to celebrate Evan’s birthday weekend.
Pet Expo 2016
Yesterday, my friends Tommy, Rucchie and I went to a pet expo in Bonifacio Global City. Tommy was going there since he entered his fighting fish in a contest and we just came along with him. It was a first for both Rucchie and I, we didn’t really know what to expect. On the way there, Tommy started talking about how there would be rabbits there and I squealed of excitement.
Birthday Weekend
I started organizing an outing for our Shandong group last month. It has been so long since I saw most of my tour mates. During the time when we just came home from the tour, we were constantly having reunions that strengthened our bond even more than it had from all the late-night drinking sessions/ice breakers in Shandong. As years passed though, that bond disappeared along with the people from the tour. I wanted to bring that bond back in this reunion however a lot of people were unwilling to go and it ended up with only me, Bernice, Honey, Mich Ty, Sharm and Mark going.
