Yesterday, my friends Tommy, Rucchie and I went to a pet expo in Bonifacio Global City. Tommy was going there since he entered his fighting fish in a contest and we just came along with him. It was a first for both Rucchie and I, we didn’t really know what to expect. On the way there, Tommy started talking about how there would be rabbits there and I squealed of excitement.
As a child, I have always loved playing shooting games. As violent as it may sound, I just love the feeling of getting kills in Counter Strike or Halo. (I only like shooting people in games, okay.) I wondered what it would be like to handle a real gun. Would it be as easy as it was in games? Was a gun heavy? What do real bullets look like? Continue reading
I started organizing an outing for our Shandong group last month. It has been so long since I saw most of my tour mates. During the time when we just came home from the tour, we were constantly having reunions that strengthened our bond even more than it had from all the late-night drinking sessions/ice breakers in Shandong. As years passed though, that bond disappeared along with the people from the tour. I wanted to bring that bond back in this reunion however a lot of people were unwilling to go and it ended up with only me, Bernice, Honey, Mich Ty, Sharm and Mark going.
Aree and I have been wanting to attend a Halloween party ever since we talked about the topic. I’ve always wanted to dress up as Tinker Bell and I even bought a dress for it but then the dress was kind of uncomfortable for it has no straps or whatsoever to hold it up. If I wore that dress, I surely couldn’t move around and about as much as I had wanted to since I would always have to look out for the possibility of the dress falling. I thought about going as Red Riding Hood but time didn’t permit me to go on a search for a red hood. I was out of ideas for a last-minute Halloween costume and searched the internet for possible costumes. It probably took me an hour to find the perfect and easy to impersonate costume: a mime. I was thinking how the live-action version of Alice in Wonderland’s Tweedledum and Tweedledee wore the same thing as a mime. Since Aree had no idea what to go as, I suggested that we go as the twins instead. At the same time, Lucibelle was telling me that she wanted to go with our group to a Halloween party as well. Aree and her boyfriend, Matt had met my friends during my birthday celebration last November 2013 so I thought that it was alright for us to go together. The more the merrier right?
Being a girl who adores fashion and aspire to be a model one day, I’ve never actually had the opportunity to watch a fashion show live. Thanks to my neighbor who won tickets to Philippine Fashion Week- Forever 21, I was finally able to witness one!
