To those who read my previous post, I know I left a cliffhanger there saying that I’ll write about my Kawasan adventure in another blog post. Well, without further ado, here it is.
Last Labor Day weekend, I went to Cebu with my 3D friends. I was fortunate enough to book cheap tickets for us during last year’s seat sale. One round trip via PAL costed only PHP 2501. Despite booking tickets a year ahead of time, we had a last minute planning at Janine’s house before the trip. There were a lot of places we wanted to go to. We decided to rent our own car so that it will be more accessible to drive around Cebu.
There are a lot of things that you can think about when the country Taiwan is mentioned but most of the people who have been there will agree with me when I say that “food” is the first thing that comes to mind. The next thing that comes to mind will be night markets. What do we do when we explore night markets? We shop. That’s what we basically did during our trip to Taipei, Taiwan.
Believe it or not, this is my second time in La Union. The first was quite horrible because there was a typhoon when we got there, Bernice was sick and during the end of the trip, I was feeling under the weather as well. To add to that, we had a flat tire when we reached the highway and had to change tires.
This time, I went with my high school batch mates: Jillian, Erika, Rose, JP, Evan, Cedrick and Mark. It was a pretty random crowd because we didn’t belong in the same clique when we were in high school but it was great to see some of them again after a long time.
I’m back! I bet you guys missed me. It’s been awhile since I blogged about my adventures. I got a new job and in this company, it takes 6 months before a newbie becomes a regular employee. It is due to this factor that I haven’t been going on any adventures since I didn’t have leave with pay privileges yet. Good news is, we had a long weekend last week and fortunately, my dad booked us a flight to Hong Kong.
I guess you can say Hong Kong is my family’s second home. We used to go there around 2 times a year to see our doctor. Yes, we have a doctor there. My parents aren’t as trustworthy with Western medicine like I am so they want us to see a Chinese doctor for a second opinion. Anyway, I guess I babbled too long. Let me tell you about my Ngong Ping 360 experience.
Last weekend, me and my friends went to Puerto Galera to celebrate Evan’s birthday weekend.
I was scrolling through my Timehop feed when I saw pictures of our Wawa Dam trip last year. I realized then that I haven’t shared it with you guys yet. I won’t go into much detail because frankly, I don’t remember a lot.
I was invited by Bernice to go to Wawa Dam with Galakbay Travel Group to help Mark with his thesis. Being the adventure-seeker that I am, of course I agreed to go with them. I invited my friend Jed along as well. Wawa Dam is located in Rodriguez, Rizal and is around 1 hour and 30 minutes away from the city. When we arrived, Mark went to talk to the Barangay and someone escorted us to the short trail that lead towards the Dam.
